On June 18 2026 in Milan, Assinter Italia conferred the awards for the inaugural edition of the Future Health Challenge, a competition dedicated to digital healthcare innovation promoted by the association uniting regional in-house agencies.
Approximately 30 projects competed, evaluated by a panel of academics from the Polytechnic University of Milan and SDA Bocconi, alongside industry experts, based on criteria of innovativeness, impact, scalability, and sustainability.
In the In-House category, one main award and two special mentions were granted. One of these special mentions was awarded to Lepida for the project "Enhancement of Healthcare Data for Proactive Prevention," which places the regional healthcare information asset at the service of frameworks capable of anticipating the needs of citizens and operators alike.
Central to this vision is the role of Artificial Intelligence in data management and analysis, acting as a strategic lever to transform vast volumes of healthcare data into actionable knowledge for preventive care.
This achievement reaffirms Lepida’s institutional role as an enabling infrastructure for digital healthcare in Emilia-Romagna, in full alignment with the strategic challenges of the post-NRRP era.
