The data from the Migrants Portal (Portale Migranti) were presented on March 12th 2026 during a conference promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region to share the results achieved by the FAMI PERSONE project.

At the heart of this initiative there's a tool designed to guide migrants through the process of accessing public healthcare.

The Migrants Portal, developed by Lepida and integrated with the Regional Registry of Assisted Persons and the Vaccination Registry, was created to ensure continuity of care from the very early stages of reception.

The process begins with a health status screening and the identification of any vulnerabilities, continuing toward increasingly autonomous access to the healthcare service network.

This journey leads to the assignment of a General Practitioner and the subsequent activation of the Electronic Health Record.

To date, the system has collected approximately 2,500 files related to individuals taken into care by the ten multidisciplinary teams active throughout the region. These figures reflect widespread work, built day after day thanks to the collaboration between institutions, professionals, and local services.

To support this effort, a distance learning program has also been launched for the professionals involved in the project, with the aim of strengthening skills, standardizing procedures, and making the care process increasingly effective.
