The 37th edition of the Porretta Soul Festival has just ended and, once again, Lepida was the technical partner of the event, broadcasting the concerts live streaming in 4K on the Lepida.tv website and on YouTube.
From the 24th to 27th of July, Porretta Terme hosted one of the most beloved international rhythm & blues festivals, also celebrating the twinning with the Memphis Sound, made official in February by the respective Mayors and sealed during the first evening, recognizing a bond between the two communities built through music and homage to Otis Redding, a shared symbol of soul and artistic brotherhood. Iconic artists and new talents alternated on stage of the Rufus Thomas Park amphitheater, gifting the public four evenings full of energy, emotion and great music, despite the rain.
The Memphis Music Hall of Fame Band performed together with every artist on the stage, under the direction of Kurt “KC” Clayton.
Among the protagonists of this edition: Jonté Mayon, Al Kapeezy, Crystal Thomas, Jerome Chism, Lil Rounds, John Nemeth & The Blue Dreamers, Captain Jack Watson, Vincent Carr, Dani McGhee, Carlos Strong, Blackburn Brothers and the return of Andrew Strong with Dublin Soul.
For the entire duration of the festival, Lepida made its infrastructure and technical support available to ensure a stable and quality broadcast, contributing to the spread of an event that combines music, culture and territory.
The live broadcasts on YouTube closed with over 3,600 views, with an average of over 900 views per evening, while the complete recordings of the four evenings, made available on the same YouTube channel, have already exceeded 6,200 views.
Soon, it will be possible to live once again the most exciting moments through the video on demand section dedicated to #PSF on the LepidaTV website.
