During the last week of March, in Turin, 4 European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) have met the European Union to evaluate the upgrades and results obtained until now.

Regione Emilia-Romagna supports since its beginning ER2Digit, since it represents a fundamental piece of the regional ecosystem of digital transformation.

The approach that also involves the Thematic Communities (COMTem) has underlined a specificity that has attracted interest in the team of the evaluators which focused on the engagement mechanism (involvement).

The evaluators perceived the COMTem as a channel for the dissemination of knowledge and good practices and their subsequent consolidation in the complex panorama of Pas.

The good practices presented by Lepida have concerned initiatives for the supervision of the state of road infrastructures, the involvement of economics experts to grab the opportunities offered by AI, the support to vulnerable people (including preschool kids) and the auto-evaluation model regarding the capability to manage the Pas with a data-driven approach.

Experiences in the field of mobility and archiving were also presented.

The evaluators recommended to recover, with good planning, from the difficulties encountered in dealing with the co-financing model of EDIH projects.

The next few weeks will be intense and dedicated to the involvement of the Member Bodies to finalize the initiatives underway with the PAs within the original deadline for the conclusion of ER2DIGIT, while waiting for the new EDIH call to propose further innovative projects aimed at the PA.
