EmiliaRomagnaWiFi has surpassed 6 million single users per year, confirming itself as an essential and appreciated service.

The network, active 24/7, offers free, fast and open connection, guaranteeing the privacy of users.

Counting more than 12.600 access points connected to the optic fiber, Lepida covers libraries, sports facilities, coasts, hospitals, public workplaces and squares, museums, schools, and universities, guaranteeing digital inclusion and access to online services.

Since 2017, this service has spread its coverage in strategic locations such as Pala De André in Ravenna, PalaDozza in Bologna and Pala Bigi in Reggio Emilia, Bologna’s International Airport and Romagna’s coasts, improving the connectivity for citizens and tourists.

In healthcare centers, it allows patients and visitors to keep in touch, while in schools and universities supports students and professors during the access at online resources.

In museums and cultural spaces, EmiliaRomagnaWiFi allows visitors to explore online content, enriching the cultural experience.

This accomplishment is the result of Regione Emilia-Romagna and Lepida’s commitment, both of which will continue to invest to improve this network and to guarantee an even more capillary and efficient service, sustaining the social and economic development of this territory.
