On the 3rd and 4rth of December 2024, the kick-off meeting of the PADRION (Public Administrations facing Digital transformation as a community in the ADRION area) project was held in Bologna, co-financed by the Interreg Program IPA ADRION with the coordination of Lepida.
The meeting, opened by a welcome presentation of the Emilia-Romagna Region regarding digital strategies, was attended by every partner of the project from Albania, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia, with the aim to launch an initiative that will promote digital transformation in Public Administrations of the Adriatic-Ionian region.
The main objective of PADRION is to develop local Digital Agendas, Thematic Practice Communities and to experiment innovative solutions launching pilot projects in order to create a replicable model for different territorial contexts. This approach intends to create more accessible and inclusive digital services oriented to the true needs of local communities, promoting the collaboration between institutions, citizens and enterprises doing so.
During the meeting, the partners defined the first operative steps, including a work plan and the main organisational and financial aspects of the project.
A central part of the meeting was dedicated to workshops and group activities. PADRION’s partners will sign the first Memorandum of Understanding to ensure their commitment and to contribute to the digital transition.
