Digital innovation at the service of planning and designing spaces, cities and informed territories, for communities increasingly livable and citizen-friendly.

Lepida, together with the Emilia-Romagna Region, has participated to the Digital Twin Conference 2024 in Tallin, the international Conference dedicated to digital Twins which took place on the 11th and 12th of September. 

The Digital Twins are “virtual models” designed to allow a deep reflection on contexts and realities, useful for the elaboration of decisional processes and public policies based on experimentations, real data and impact assessment.

The Region has presented in Estonia the VERA (Virtualizing Emilia-Romagna Air Quality) Project, the “Digital Twin of Emilia-Romagna”: a strategic tool, born to support the regional policies of sustainability, territory protection and to contrast pollution and climate change, exploiting the immense potentials and possibilities offered by the use of digital, accordingly with the objectives set by the Pact for Work and Climate, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Pair 2030, the Carbon Neutrality Path and the Digital Agenda of Emilia-Romagna 2020-25 – Data Valley Common Good.
